People with two jobs, show up the same on the unemployment stats as people with one job. Both count as employed. There isn't any double counting, except perhaps in a very few cases where they have two jobs under different identities.

I wonder if they count the people with two jobs to make ends meet twice? Here in Mormonland you'd be amazed at how many people, especially women, are doing that.


That's the rub. They rarely discuss the quality of the employment.
