Because civilization is a good thing.

So is chocolate chip ice cream and apple pie [not necessarily combined.]

Hypothetically, suppose Israel wasn't there. What is the downside to the US?

"Because civilization is a good thing."

When 'civilization' must continually be imposed upon us by the authority of conquest ... when unquestioning obedience is virtue, and those who threaten the tranquility of social order are to be subdued, then we have by default judged our brethren in humanity to be incapable of choosing peaceful coexistence on their own.

When order is a victory to be won, security a matter of enforcement, and salvation subject to politics, we accept the rulership mentality of civil order; which, in the hearts of principled men of conscience is no less than psychopathic.

Best Regards,
Gem
