This is a nice commentary on our culture.

A paramilitary group tries to overthrow the democratically elected gov't. I refer to that group as thugs. I get a one-week suspension.

If I were a shareholder of YHOO, I would be very pissed.

If I was I'd probably be pissed as well.

Actually I guess I might be, it could be a small part of some mutual fund in my 401K. But I'm sure the amount of investment would be tiny, and it might actually be zero.

I think its very appropriate that the shareholder's get pissed about large pay for incompetent or otherwise ineffective management. I just don't consider it much of an issue for non-shareholders.
