According to her blog, she's well north of Mt Taylor, near Grants, NM. The Mule seems to be doing well as a riding animal. I agree with your comments. The problem I have with women in any workplace is if they think they have to prove something on behalf of their gender. If they see everything as a guy-gal competition, it can be very hard to work with them in a collaboration or team environment. Those who think that way sometimes never seem to get past their gender. This young gal has plans to open a backtrail guiding business. "...and I envy that young woman." I chuckled when I read that. Every guy our age I've talked to about her adventure has said the exact same thing. "I sure wish I'd done that when I was younger..."
