Notice a new rule of thumb:
When financials are weak, technology and oil is strong. And vice versa. It is very rare for all groups to go down.

Sp500 is flat, if there is a buying pressure on the indexes, but financials have to go down, because of the fundamental problem, then if indexes are to be flat, some other groups have to go up significantly to offset that weakness.
