When I hear that argument I am just stunned at the arrogance. Hmmmm. I thought it was all but established fact, at the very least solid conservative lore, that family-friendly (preferably Christian) homes with two devoted and loving parents were dramatically more likely to turn out solid citizens than non-families that don't have a commitment to them and that we should encourage the former and discourage the latter. I think that would be good enough for most thoughtful pragmatists.
