That is true. ~1/3 of voters call themselves independents. And I imagine at least a third of Dems and Reps are completely disgusted with this government.

The pundits don't think a third party candidate has a chance. I think they are wrong.

Sadly, the Democrats aren't helping themselves very much. Their biggest problem is they bend over backwards to avoid offending anyone. Even those who wouldn't be offended. So they spend a lot of time running around in little circles, waving their hands instead of taking a stand.

Its almost like they are afraid. And Bush/Cheney count on them backing off. Its pathetic.
