We are pretty far from BK, close to all-time highs and still
above 50 DMA on all major indexes. There are some dangerous
undercurrents in the bond land, but the market so far ignored
all of them, except the prospect of higher interest rates.

The real conundrum is banks/Fed cooperation. It can't break down
unless the value of the confetti the Fed prints (the dollar)
goes down dramatically (it sure won't break down in that
case either, just the Fed will be "devalued" -g-).
We had another big buying spree
from foreign Central banks this week, including $10b in
housing agency bonds.
