Hey Bulba, shouldn't I be in third place? Oh wait, my return is negative 24%, not positive! Ouch - good think I only own a few of the names I picked and have been selling volatility in a few others to make up losses.

Jon

6/29/07 Update
At the halfway mark, despite lots of churning, the Nasdaq Biotech Index wound up pretty much where it began the year, closing Friday up .54% YTD (vs. up .24% YTD a week ago). Unfortunately, the smaller-cap stocks in the Charity Contest portfolios can't even claim a break even performance for the first half of the year. At Friday's close, the median for the Contest portfolios was down -4.39%% YTD (vs. down -5.30% YTD a week ago). At the mid-year closing bell, 12 of the 31 Contest portfolios were in the black YTD and the same 12 of 31 beat the NBI.
RCMAC's 26.9% YTD gain keeps him in the lead, with FRED's 26.1% YTD gain a very close No. 2.
Patriotic biofreaks may want to begin celebrating Independence Day this weekend. That's what I'll be doing!
Below is the Top Ten list on 6/29/07:
