the $100 cost was not for the 1 million oz. + US Gold property. It's for a different property and company. It's an open pit in Mexico. The US Gold property has a somewhat difficult geology requiring a not so usual method. There's a patented process that Newmont has that was looked at. I have no idea what Mcewen plans to do with that particular property. Of course, the new US Gold under McEwen has a lot more property than the old US Gold. And they are currently more of an exploration company.
