While they don't have the trophy homes found in America, they also don't have the slums. Take a look at average sq footage. They are very small. Same all though Europe. You may not like "McMansions," but most people do. A very smart man told me many years ago: "America is a nation of Palaces, with an occasional hut. The rest of the world are nations of huts, with an occasional Palace." The Muslim problem in Sweden is horrific - Agree, but that isn't a problem from socialism. Yes, it is. A cornerstone of Marxism is Cultural. It believes in multiculturalism and PC. That is a cornerstone of Swedish Socialism. They just convicted an opposition party leader for saying that Muslim Bosnian immigrants were the source of their rising Heroin problem. Can't say that. Even though it's true.
