Your post displays complete ignorance of the facts. The "$300 pre-payment" was only a portion of the income tax cut received in advance. Most people got a lot more, unless they were in the very lowest tax bracket. As for your "upper 1%" comment... All income tax brackets were cut, and the highest brackets were cut the least proportionally: The brackets now range from 10% to 35%. Before Bush, the brackets ranged from 15% to 39.6%. The lowest bracket was cut by 33.3% (from 15% to 10%). The highest bracket was cut by only 11.6% (from 39.6% to 35%).
