Most do, but on some it is an option to have on or off.

My 'burban is a '97. I think all GM cars have the always-on lights.

That's in contrast to our Mercury Van, which has an auto-on feature for headlights when it gets to be dusk. Also, they stay on for a preset time after you turn the car off, which allows time to get from the car to the door.

Speaking of the 'burban, I'm 800 George Washingtons short now after putting on new tires. Ouch.
