The GOP will suffer a huge defeat in 2008 for very good reason. No sane American really wants another GOP White House after the big oil mafia we have running things now. For all its flaws, democrats deserve a chance to lead again. They did very well in the 90's.

Bottomline, it doesn't matter who on the GOP side gets nominated. They will not get more than 40-45%. Bloomberg may throw a wrench into that, but since Bush-Cheney have been exposed as criminals the democrats have picked up about 15% in base support, almost all of it at the expense of the GOP. And Guiliani is a huge embarrassment. He is not going to help the GOP on any level.
