Eye for an eye?????????? nuke mecca because of a kidnapping? new zealand would be seen as being worse than nazi germany..... Maurice ...what you would do is just plain evil . Killing thousands of innocents for the action of a group of kidnappers is just plain sadistic revenge.

Yes, invading Lebanon when Lebanon invaded Israel was quite sensible to recover the kidnapped people. Apparently not "sensible" enough to actually recover them. Unannounced Quiz: How many Israelis died to not recover two Israeli soldiers? "Release them by this evening, or Mecca will cease to exist - and the day after that something else will cease to exist, until they are recovered. If they are never recovered, there will be nothing left of anything related to supporting those who did the kidnapping". That qualified as barbaric. Eye for eye and all that. Nothing like the civilized way of 5 or 6 thousand years ago. You do realize that the Jews actually celebrate the victory of terrorism over oppression. It's called Passover. The Ten Plagues of Egypt culminating with the glorious slaughter of Egyptian first born man and beast. It got them their freedom. Do you know of any earlier terrorism success? jttmab
