Democrats advantage is increasing. Latest Rasmussen poll shows 46% would vote for the Democrat in their district while 34% would vote for the Republican. This 12 point advantage was 7 points two months ago.

I believe Gore would have done two specific things differently--actually, a Gore Administration would have done just about everything differently as Bush-Cheney apparently placed a political editor, toeing the neocon line, in charge of every major department of government:

First, I don't think a Gore Administration would have, pre-9/11, threatened to boycott the World Conference Against Racism, which inflammed radical elements in the Middle East; and a Gore Administration would have followed up on Clinton's attempt for reconciliation between Israel and Palestine.

Secondly, a Gore Administration would not have manipulated the media to push for war and Gore--had he won both the popular and electoral college vote--would have no need to become a "war president," as Bush was want to become, especially given the manner to which he was (s)elected.
