The USA desperately needs universal health care, yes. and most people agree. It's not just the 40 million without insurance its the fact that without cheaper health care our corporatations cannot compete unless they send their jobs to the third world. Japan's socialized health care cuts $1000 in cost off every car they make versus Detriot. SO how can we compete? The rightwing likes to ignore the fact bthat their are trying to privatizing everything, including our health and military, and gouge us for huge profits off it all. This has resulted in huge corruption and trillions ripped off of the public.
