Good Morning, P.... What a BLESSING that you still have grandparents to "argue with"!! When my grandfather was not able to drive; yet didn't realize it...my dad took the alternater loose/off/something and it wouldn't start when Papaw "found" his keys and tried to go to the store. (THAT was the whole point) Problem was? Dad didn't take the phone away too! Papaw called the gas station in Nolensville and had them send a mechanic over to fix it. Then dad had to tell the gas station to NOT make housecalls at his house!! Quiet frankly? It was SCAREY riding with him!! re: Food. R's mom is "all over that whole cooking" thing! She'd just as soon us cook and she'll eat whatever. Considering the things she would cook in the last few years? It's fine and dandy with us! Ever had "Avacado pie"?? NASTY stuff!!!! She figured if lemon juice in a recipe would make a good pie, then replace them with avacados and it'll be yummy. I repeat...NASTY!!! Still, we're blessed to have them. Record these moments; good/bad/ugly/precious, in memory because as we all know; they won't be here forever. I really should go be useful...or not... e'
