One would think you would not, since your tax dollars go to such great causes. In fact, hen the Great Society or FDR's new deal were still breathing, I would have expected newspapers full of examples of lefties OVERPAYING their taxes since they were donating to such worthy causes AND refusing to take any deductions for donations to charity.
