Bugs can be used commercially, but never very successfully so far. They were used at Brewery Creek, but the jury is out as BC was unsuccessful. They alleged it was working, but as it made no money, albeit in an all time low gold price era, it is hard to say successful. MWitte/Kent tried it in Timmins, but it was more experimental, never took hold.

Bugs are the wave of the future, and for now it appears they always will be.

Kelly Dolphin tried it on Red Lake tailings a while back and reported success.

I would like to see an implementation for once that was ongoing and commercial. Not just test tube talk and failed ops.
