All I know is market stats is out of whack, and we get
these mystery WTF rallies starting on poor breadth in the
futures pits. Some internet friends of mine who have
been in the pits claimed
they are coming from a single brokerage account, and are
frequently crossed (buy and sell from a single entity).
Happened since 2004. No clue who that is, and I
have not seen the fact that they come from the same
account myself. -g- If these were the trade, I assume all of
these brokers have different futures accounts -g-
A free market explanation of this phenomenon would be delta-
hedging due to increased options volume.
