Syntax-Brillian (Nasdaq:BRLC) announced today that its popular Olevia(TM) brand of HDTVs has been named as the official HDTV of ESPN Deportes' coverage of the 2007 Pan American Games being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 13 - 29, 2007. Olevia will support the events locally through its joint venture Olevia-Senna do Brasil.
Olevia will enjoy extensive exposure during ESPN Deportes' coverage of the sixteen days of festivities including sponsoring ESPN Deportes' daily studio update segments that anchor the network's coverage of the Games. The studio updates provide fans with pivotal highlights and updates from the competition. During the studio updates Olevia HDTVs will be showcased on the ESPN Deportes set.
