Oh my, that reminds me when our oldest, a daughter, was in Kindergarten and went to school and at "Show and Tell" time told the whole class that Mom and Daddy locked her out of the house the day before (Sunday) to take a nap......now really! Had neighbors telling us about their children coming home and repeating that story. Out of the mouths of babes....the truth does come out. No new babies to speak of. LOL Took us awhile to live down that story! I gently told her that what happens at home stays at home from now on. Poor little darling looked up at me and said, "But Mom, you told me to always tell the truth and I did". All I could do was grab her up and hug her and tell her everything would be all right and she was not in trouble for telling the truth. Life is full of joyful memories.
