(OK...right place this time!!)

Great reply, MM...thanks!

Father in law was told yesterday he has to have his pacemaker replaced and we take him Friday to the specialist who will do it. He decided he "wanted his energy back". I think he'd felt so bad for the last couple weeks; he just was "ready"...then having his pacemaker doing it's thang for a couple days has made him realize he LIKES living. :)

Or, perhaps it's 7 of his family members sitting there "willing" him to say "yes" to the replacement.

We had critical (our) family business to see to at the same time as the dr. appt., so it was only 7 giving him the "eye" instead of 9!!

Thanks all for the prayers. We will find out Friday when the surgery will be...and I might be calling for prayers again. :)

Headed out...back later!

btw...that kitchen cabinet would net you at least $450 here; as is. fwiw. :)

I have one in my kitchen I bought at auction several years ago. I call it my "flour bin cabinet" but think it's actually a "Hoosier" cabinet. Mine also has a hanging turning thingy (technical terms, dontchaknow) that glass spice containers go it. A couple came with it and I've picked up others over the years.

HEY...if his is a "Hoosier" and you guys decide to toss it; would you look on the front top and see if the little metal "Hoosier" nameplate is still attached?? I'd love to "acquire" it from you if it's just going to the dump anyway. (nameplate only)
When I bought mine at that auction; there was one on mine. When we went to load it up after the auction? Someone had pried off the nameplate. I have a "blank spot", but you can't find just a replacement nameplate.
His prolly isn't a Hoosier and "someone" has prolly already taken it to the dump...but thought I'd ask.

btw...I'd LOVE to stake out that dump if this is the type thing you guys toss out there!!!

Gotta scoot...but realized I'd not only replied to myself (goof) but had forgotten to mention the cabinet!

I like your father in law. We think alike!!!!
