I once attended a luncheon where Al Bore gave a speech. Talk about a snooze fest marathon. Gore was speaking to an adoring crowd (for the Dept of Education), yet I bet more folks fell asleep more than once than those who actually stayed awake the whole time. I sat at a table at the back right in front of the coffee service. I downed at least 3 cups & I still could not stay awake. There were folks were constantly lined up there trying to get a caffeine fix to fend off the sandman at the podium - no luck.
