Rumors floating around Boise of pending layoffs coming soon for Micron and possibly moving all assembly facilities offshore. That would have a huge impact locally. I got it from a long term employee last week. Watch for qtr end annc. Not rumor. It's fact. Micron will look for ways to cut costs which will include layoffs and "developing production cost efficiencies closer in location to Micron's global customers." eetimes.com
