WOW! I didn't know that. Ours is a 1998 but could have been manufactured in '96. My husband said I could get a new car when it was 10 yrs old. It is down getting some linkage thingy replaced cuz the other one broke when we went over a really bumpy, rutted, primitive mt pass in BC last winter, but I'm going to look at the jamb and see what it says after I get it back home.

If it says anything older than 1998, he owes me a car.

I assume I'll find the production date for a Ford on the left B-pillar?
