What I have to go by is what Hamas presents to the whole world.

If they're actually nice guys underneath it all, I'd sure like to know, but until then, you're not doing a good job convincing me that my view of Hamas is bunk.


My point isn't that Hamas are the good guys and Fatah bad. I don't think either are very good. However, there are two things going for Hamas. First they were elected to public office in a fair election. I believe the will of the people should be respected. Secondly, they provide help for a people who need all the help they can get.

The irony in all of this is that getting publicly elected is having the impact on Hamas that legitimacy usually does..........they are starting to play by the rules. Unfortunately, no one in the White House is willing to recognize that change. Its one of the many ways having a bad president is hurting this country. We need competent leadership at a time when there is none.
