"a corporation is just an entity made up of individuals"

The individuals are entitled to free speech AS CITIZENS. Citizens are the concern of government, and vice-versa. The corporations have no vote and should have no right to POLITICAL speech, as corporations.

Individuals are not the concern of the corporation. The concern of a corporation is profit, and only profit. If individuals contribute to that end, they are kept, if they don't, they are abandoned. If the corporation needs to trim costs, individuals are often abandoned even though they contribute to the profit of the corporation.

Individuals are irrelevant to the corporation. If the corporation could make profits with robots and AI management, it probably would (the corporation of the future!). If corporations could take advantage of slave labor, they CERTAINLY would.
