I copied this pregnant paragraph from an FNX posting this morning. (Terry MacGibbon, President and CEO of FNX speaking).

"... The pending acquisition of the Mining Services Division will provide the Company with significant exposure in the vibrant and growing mining services business and will also enhance the Company's in-house engineering, mining and operating capabilities to advance its aggressive growth plans at the Company's rapidly expanding, profitable operations in Sudbury. In addition, our new Mining Services Division will provide an excellent platform for the Company to seek out and acquire equity and direct ownership in highly prospective mining projects in North America and elsewhere."

There is a relationship between FNX and Lake Shore Gold who imminently will be announcing the results of the pre-feasibility study of their West Timmins property. The next stage of exploration is underground and shaft sinking. My guess is that this project will be the first assignment of FNX's new division.
