Homeland Security Group International Establishes Distribution and Marketing Agreement With XO Armor

Power Shield Attains NIJ Level IIIA Ballistic Capable Glass Protection Rating

SAN DIEGO, CA, Jul 26, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Homeland Security Group International (PINKSHEETS: HMSG) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with XO Armor of Houston, Texas to market and distribute XO Armor's patented safety and security film in California, Arizona and Nevada and also to the US Government. HMSG entered into the agreement during participation in Operation Golden Phoenix on Tuesday.
Under the terms of the agreement, HMSG will act as a distributor of XO Armor products under their private label "PowerShield" to the western region. HMSG will immediately introduce XO Armor to the US Marine Corps for use on military vehicle windows.

"We entered into discussions with XO Armor after reviewing testing data on their patented ballistic laminate processes," said Colonel Jeffrey Powers, CEO of Homeland Security Group International. "I am confident that this is the only company that can substantiate their claims of having produced a NIJ Level IIIA ballistic laminate. We have dealt with other manufacturers in the past but could not claim ballistic capabilities and we ended up marketing only safety and security films. XO Armor is the real deal with an established resume and their testing data is irrefutable."

"Teaming with HMSG, we are able to enter the western region of the US and continue our testing and product upgrades using HMSG assets in California, Arizona and Nevada. Our product has proven itself during testing and we are in negotiations for government contracts. Our association with HMSG will enhance our ability to reach military and civilian clients on the west coast," commented Cindy Kilgore of XO Armor.

The XOArmor/HMSG team has already begun to function with HMSG agreeing to provide testing facilities in the San Diego region. XO armor is a Woman Owned, Total Hub Zone business and also a schedule 70 GSA contract holder

Homeland Security Group International Announces Success With Operation Golden Phoenix Disaster Response Training Evolution

SAN DIEGO, CA, Aug 08, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Homeland Security Group International (PINKSHEETS: HMSG) today announced successful results stemming from the company's participation in Operation Golden Phoenix, a collaborative civil-military training evolution meant to address select disaster relief protocols and demonstrate military cooperation and communication capabilities. The training evolution put together by a partnership of private companies, government agencies and humanitarian/relief agencies, took place in Los Alamitos and Los Angeles, California July 22-25.
Some of Operation Golden Phoenix participants included the U.S. Department of Defense. Naval Postgraduate School, Los Angeles County Sherriff, Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments, Los Angeles County Police, Pamona Police Department, USMC MAG 46 and the California National Guard.

Operation Golden Phoenix simulated the impact on information sharing in a real-world disaster. The training exercise assumed the context of a high magnitude earthquake in the region, which was further complicated by a wave of civil unrest and evacuation scenarios which strained critical infrastructure and systems.

Evolutions such as Golden Phoenix, Freedom's Ring, and Strong Angel identify strengths and weaknesses in the ability of support agencies to respond effectively during a crisis. "Conducting capability demonstrations, drills, and full-scale training exercises is fundamental for identifying friction points," commented Colonel Jeffrey Powers, USMC (Ret.), CEO of HMSG. "Response scenarios must be practiced prior to actual events to prevent disconnects during those major incidents."

While the primary purpose of HMSG's participation at Golden Phoenix was to showcase the equipment and services that the company and partners can provide to first responders, Golden Phoenix also allowed HMSG to foster relationships with our new joint venture partners.

"We are counting our participation in this event as an outstanding success," commented Powers. "We were able to demonstrate our product line consisting of cutting-edge technologies geared toward disaster response and also shared our experience and expertise learned during disaster relief efforts in the wake of hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma."

HMSG manned a 24-hour mobile command post during Golden Phoenix and participated by displaying and lending technologies to the event. The company was able to merge the capabilities of VideoNext and Wanco mobile surveillance trailers. The Wanco trailer was remotely deployed to Pasadena in order to provide a live video feed back to Los Alamitos and to display the ability of VideoNext security software. Accompanying HMSG were some of their joint venture partners including XO Armor, VideoNext, CamLite, Wanco mobile surveillance trailers, Activ and Hydrosil. Activ and Hydrosil products are being tested by HMSG with the US Military. Information regarding these products will be in a separate press release.

Homeland Security Group International Delivers TC3V1 Medical Bags to US Army

Freedom Is Not Free Foundation Holds Successful Event Aiding Wounded Troops

SAN DIEGO, CA, Sep 20, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Colonel Jeffrey A. Powers, CEO of Homeland Security Group International (PINKSHEETS: HMSG), announced today that HMSG has completed the first shipment of Combat Casualty Care Bags to the US Army.
"The first shipment has been completed on time and has been receipted for by the Army. We see this as a significant event that has culminated two years of negotiation, design and coordination with the US Army and Defense Logistics Agency. Soon after its inclusion into our product line, the Army assigned a National Stock Number to this bag and named it as the standard bag to be carried by Army Medics. Until now, the Army has continued to deplete their supply of Vietnam era equipment by shipping medical supplies to its medics in the old green nylon tri-fold bag. We feel we have turned the corner and units have started ordering our new bag for their medics," commented Colonel Powers.

The company is hoping that the flood gates will open and all Army medical units will now be purchasing the TC3V1. HMSG has currently sold over 12,000 medical bags to the United States Armed Forces.

HMSG also announced that the company participated in a fund raising effort in Washington, DC last week on behalf of the Freedom Is Not Free foundation. HMSG arranged for and escorted FINF board members on a Capitol tour and guided tour of the Pentagon including a personal briefing by the office of The Commandant of the Marine Corps. On Monday night, FINF hosted a fund raising dinner for 35 wounded service members from Walter Reed and Bethesda hospitals with Brigidier General Joe Dunford (USMC) as the guest speaker. Local business leaders attended and donated money to this worthy cause. To learn more about Freedom Is Not Free please visit freedomisnotfree.com
