Meanwhile what one can only presume is an attack of terminal irony, Blair is to be a ME envoy for the UN. news.bbc.co.uk Promoting peace through superior firepower, no doubt. Perhaps he feels he can unite all sides in their contempt for him. Oh well, at least he'll never go out again without a bodyguard, so even he can't ignore the loathing of so many. Still, on a selfish view, I'd rather he stays f**ing up over there than failing to speak sense to Bush over here.
