Fine...how do you fix it? I don't think the will is there for the Iraqis to fix it. You claim my ignorance of "military matters" and I would throw back at you that any military force where there is unanimity of purpose for its creation and massive resource behind it's development WILL be developed in far less than four years, and be effective in its objectives. Period. Dozens of examples on the world stage. But the Iraqis don't have the unanimity of purpose. 14,000 of the basic infantry weapons we have given them are unaccounted for (guess where they are!). This from your iraqi recruits! Come on, JDN. Like your theory back in 2004 that Bush would have us out of Iraq in early 2005...its doesn't wash. The Iraqis don't have the will or the guts to build a nation, no matter how many billions we hand them.
