Not a whole lot, but I did talk with a fellow who has family down in Brownsville, I think. He said something about a media blackout on something called the Trans Pacifica which he said was a highway that was going to link a port Mexico is building in Baja Mexico with Brownsville Texas apparently for the purpose of circumventing the ports and union wages for dock workers in California. That’s really all from memory and he’s out of town right now, but I’ll ask him about it again when he gets back.

What you need to know:

Also, Giuliani's Houston-based law firm, Bracewell & Giuliani, is identified by the Texas Department of Transportation as the sole law firm representing Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., the Spanish investment consortium that has joined with Zachry Construction Company in San Antonio on the TTC project.

There are billions at stake here, just follow the money back to the promoters and those that stand to gain. That is how your first tier candidates will defend their legislation. How do you think this will effect Giuliani's position on borders and immigration? My guess, should the time come, it would be a little weak to say the least.

I live in Texas where the Governor, a Bush boy, has recently vetoed an eminent domain bill compensating landowners for property access rights. Perry is a strong supporter of the Trans Texas Corridor. I wonder whose interests he is looking out for, certainly not his constituents.

You people need to wake up. The majority of those in power and seeking power are not the solution, they are the problem. Ron Paul's constitutional position on federal government would attempt to limit that power.

News flash - for those who don't get it, big government is not your friend... but no one seems to care as they follow the same path in their efforts to elect more of the same - like there is not a choice.
