The average Joe abroad ONLY knows GWB(almost nobody knows Hillary, Pelosi, McCain, whatever). And they despise the GWB for whatever reason. In their minds(I speculate here) they question how good is a political system that would elect GWB twice(the first try was definitely stolen). I go back and say that what when on in the 2000 election was THE catalyst to a chain reaction; kind of a the-emperor-has-no-clothes realization. And 7 years later, they are still getting confirmation that their assumption was right...
