As for the increase in prisoners, about half of them are in prison for drug offenses, not violent crimes, and sentences have gotten stiffer. Tim, read this very slowly......the numbers of prisoners has increased significantly in the past six years. The prison population is at an all time high. That means crime is going up. Now reread what I wrote and think about it.
