Thanks, I put The girl in the cafe on my watchlist.

I used to consider To Kill a Mockingbird my favorite novel but then I sat under the tree in the rain at the Raffles Hotel where Somerset Maugham wrote many of his works in Singapore and I also read Joseph Conrad's books. I believe Heart of Darkness had the most impact on me.
