Okay, here's the deal -- let's borrow enough Yen to hold Sterling for that +550 bps spread, and then we'll hypothecate the positive cash flow differential from the carry to secure a loan big enough to buy a small Caribbean island. The bank will just repackage the loan against the island into a CDO tranche and lay it off on some high-yield-seeking sap anyway, so it's not like the bank will get pissed at us and come a-callin' for the money back -- in fact, we should invite the bank people down to the island once a year for a party.
