EC!-lol. Einstein, was saying a bit more than that-lol. His equation E=MC2 defines time as a (thing) not a metaphsical concept and as nothing can ever go faster than light or ever catch up with light, then as matter speeds up, time HAS to slow down, as you know. This was a brand new idea that time is a thing and that light defines the universe. When Einstein first presented these ideas, world famous physicist's walked out saying: "that is the crazyest thing I ever heard-lol. Einstein figured special relativity out in 1905 and yet he did not get the nobelprize until 1921 and he did not get it for relativity! He got it: "for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect", because people still did not get relativity in 1921.
