I think you are right russet as far as it goes.

Just as Newton was correct as far he got, so was Einstein. I doubt Einstein was wrong or will be shown to be wrong in the context he was working in i.e. relativity and big things in this universe. Light defines this universe.

And there is a difference between something moving through the universe and the universe moving itself. During the big bang the universe expanded a zillion times faster than the speed of light.

And in the quantum world particles can communicate instantanously across the universe, but that is a function of quantum the wave action and the quantum reality about which we know nothing, excpet how to use it-like building hydrogen bombs-lol.
