Spirit, I said it was people "like you" that got Bush elected in 2000, I didn't say it "was" you. Sometimes elections come down to who is willing to compromise and be pragmatic in order to achieve a LARGER goal. If you get SO "invested" in particular trees, then you kinda lose sight of the forest as a whole. Your almost obsessed loyalty to Kerry was sort of symptomatic of that type of obsession. Your persistence and energy could be a major asset for a candidate if you channeled it more efficiently and didn't get personally involved in areas that you really can't have any control over.
