.......but not of liberals of the last 100 years...who have been more interested in social issues such as ending antisemitism, racism and poverty in general. liberals of 100 years ago wanted to end antisemitism, racism and poverty for the sake of human rights. Liberals of the last 30 yeras have wanted to end these things for the sake of group rights and righting the wrongs of oppressed groups. Therefore agitating as a member of an oppressed group, not just a citizen, has become the highest order of the day for liberals. Completely different ballgame.
