Discover is going to have to come in at under $24 before I bite. While management is incentivized and can and will make changes, they've got a tough market to crack and don't deserve an industry standard p/e at this point. It's a good card but I like others don't use it because it's not widely accepted.

In regards to CDL, I made a quick trade around 8.35, took the special dividend and then sold at 6.23 4-5 days later. A quick 5%, if one considers his basis the post-dividend price. There's too much leverage involved to stay. But when everyone dumped it, the price was too good to pass up.
