I've seen liberals denounce the barbaric treatment of women in the Muslims world.

I too have seen some - but very gingerly, very tentatively. NOTHING like the full throated roar with which Israel is denounced routinely for its treatment of the Palestinians. Or America for its invasion of Iraq.

Go read Ayaan Hirsi Ali. She's in the best position to tell you about the reaction of European liberals.
