Health care in this country is a real issue.. The most important domestic issue imo, right after the war of all issues in my mind.. With the environmental issues tied in right there.. So anyway, I worked once again this afternoon for real change.. Passing out our community progressive newsletter. Talking to real folks, explaining the issues, etc. or just leaving it if nobody was home.. We have made REAL progress.. People are not afraid to speak out anymore about their concerns... WE ARE NOT ALONE.. People want to see REAL people out there speaking out, talking.. Not just anonymous people blogging, complaining or whining or writing to their newspapers.. Taking the LAZY way out that doesn't accomplish a helluva lot.. For the first time in my 60 plus years, I can say our country's fate is at stake.. Worst than the Nixon years by magnitudes.. And we have no vested interest in this outcome except OUR LOVE for this COUNTRY.. So all I can say.. Get out there if one can.... I think I convinced a rock hard Republican, that these guys are not true Repubs, not like Ike or Goldwater,(I liked them) etc, they are a strange and maybe evil breed that I don't know where they came from but hoodwinked so many good people... :( So just go talk in person.. Wake them up.. It is so important.. Take care, m
