It would cost us what ever we pay the Army corp of engineers to tear it down and move it. No big deal, they get paid anyway. If only we would use what we have in place to provide the security we need, the road bloaks to getting this done would vanish. usace.army.mil Our mission is to provide quality, responsive engineering services to the nation including: Planning, designing, building and operating water resources and other civil works projects (Navigation, Flood Control, Environmental Protection, Disaster Response, etc.) Designing and managing the construction of military facilities for the Army and Air Force. Ann, you never replied to this post. Message 23661854 Do you think the second, unbuilt strand of fence would stop those Mexicans behind the President? If you get the fence built and that's all we do, it'll be a massive, expensive failure. "Build the Fence" is as much of a loser bumper-sticker as "Stay the Course" - I'll bet you backed that too. The way to stop illegal migrants is to scare the hell out of the illegal employers that are hiring them. They're breaking the law, but they can't run and they can't hide. It's the easy, effective way to solve the problem. Once the law-breaking employers stop hiring illegals, illegals won't come here, and the ones that are already here will HAVE to leave.

It would seem not everyone is in favor of building a fence... Tree huggers could tie it up for quite a while if there are endangered species involved.
