Alcohol is also regarded as a drug. Babe and The Mick, among hundreds of others, were total alkies. I'm sure everyone in pro sports has taken a pain pill. There used to be a guy named Howe who was suspended for cocaine more times than Michael Jordan had playing days in the minor leagues.

Why pick on Barry when Lance Armstrong is treated as a hero? I don't know the answer to that one. I think they ought to pound on ALL cheaters, whether dopers, corked bat users, pine tar addicts, etc.

There hasn't been an honest pro athlete since Rosie Ruiz. <G>
