The Muslims need to step up to the plate and come out with a global fatwa against terrorism. Really, the reformation needs to start at home, by ending religious intolerance. But that's fundamentally opposed to all values in Islam. Death is the punishment for apostates. We need to stay firm in our realization that Muslims are the one's being mainly persecuted by their own religious intolerance. They can't leave the religion without being killed. It amazes me that Muslims in Europe and the US stay attached to the dogma of intolerance. People will look at the bomb in Glasgow and hate Muslims, which is wrong. We need to criticize Islamic intolerance that butchers hundreds of innocent Muslims every day too. We need to help Bush explain to the world that we need a better appreciation of the fact that we are in the gravest possible situation in Iraq to protect one of our most strategic allies from jihadi bombers. It's very strange that the last 3 attack in Britain did not result in suicides by the attackers. The first two fled on foot and the last ones were pulled from the car in Glasgow. This is going to take another 4 to 8 years to contain the problem, unless Islamic countries help fight the terrorists and impose strict financial controls. I don't think the situation in West Bank and Gaza is going to improve any time soon. The quickest way to put an end to financial and arms support will be the economic isolation of Iran. The government seems to enjoy their nuclear aspirations and arms race across the ME. However, they are getting fucked by the government which is doing nothing to take care of real concerns like gas prices. No way in hell they can subsidize gas at 11 cents a gallon for very long, even though that's a huge increse from the previous level. They are losing $10 billion a year from these subsidies. That's the equivalent of 142 million barrels of oil. That's 20% of the revenue they generate from oil exports. That leaves them with only $40 billion in export revenues for 100 million people. Bottom line is that the Muslims are worse than the Democrats. The Muslims kill for sins against Allah, the Democrats just want to tax the shit out of every living American that can't pay their own pay. Death and taxes, two useless codes of intolerance in a global democracy.
