Domestic minorities are crazy to support an open border philosophy. One way to move up is to introduce someone who will rank beneath you, who will make you look relatively attractive.

Domestic minorities are crazy to support an open border philosophy. You are right. However, short sighted political allies often do crazy things. If the democrats are successful in opening the border, then in a decade or two democrats will not need blacks. That could create several interesting scenarios.
