Obama does have charisma, which is good. His lack of experience should be of concern. He is not ready to lead this country, but he is smart enough to know that most voters do not vote based on skills, but instead of by party. So he will get many votes by party members and he may not be popular 4 years from now.

Obama lacks experience? You mean like Bush, JFK and Clinton did? If he follows that pattern we have a 67% chance of getting a great president. JFK and CLinton were both great presidents and had very little national experience.

The only inexperienced president who turned out to be a terrible mistake is GW Bush. And to make up for his inexperience he brought in Dick Cheney who turned out to be perhaps the biggest criminal in US history.
